Just appointed a moderator to a subgroup - issues


 

Hi - have just appointed a moderator to run my subgroup. Set appropriate moderator preferences etc for him - updated the settings etc - but he is not seeing his left hand menu change from what it was before as a straight member . Cant understand that - any ideas please what might have happened ? barry

Are you saying he doesn't see Admin in the lefthand menu? The moderator needs at least to see Pending, members, invite, activity at least. (That's what I see as moderator for this group.)?

His display of menu items in the main group won't change. Is he actually in the subgroup when he's looking at it?

Found out he is running his presentation entirely from his phone app. He has sent across a screen shot and it shows "no" menu on the left hand side of the screen. He also has an ipad but no computer/lap top - barry?

On a mobile device or in mobile view on a laptop/desktop (narrowing the browser window makes it switch to mobile view) the menu options that are normally on the left side are accessed using the hamburger icon at the bottom of the screen.
