Incorrect reminder

Our group (Santa Cruz Mountains Trails Association)changed a hike from Dec 1 to January 5. The correction appeared correctly on the calendar; however a remibder for the incorrect hike was sent out anyways by groups.io. Please correct this glitch as this is a confusing error!

This is a peer-to-peer group of moderators. We can't make corrections to the software. You should post it on the Beta group that Groups.io owner and developer Mark hosts. ?[email protected]

However you might want to double-check your process. Perhaps you manually put in a reminder and when you edited the date of the event, you forgot to change it. If that's not what happened, perhaps you can describe your process so those that regularly use the calendar can spot any missteps. Or perhaps it is a real glitch that needs reporting!

This is a user to user help group, a group of users who help each
other address problems, whenever we can help. We are not part of
groups.io technical staff, so we can't do anything to fix bugs in the
groups.io code.

You, however, can get groups.io management's attention by posting in
the beta group, where bugs can get addressed. You will need to post
your problem in the beta group with the tag #bug in the subject line.
You can also make suggestions there but instead use the tag
#suggestion in the subject line.

There is also a list of hashtags on the main page of the beta group,
where you can also opt to join that group:



You will most likely only use the two hashtags above but the entire
list is there. If you want something addressed, you need to take the
initiative to document your bug and explain it so the groups.io
technical support people can validate, test, and fix the problem.
Other members may test your problem in their groups to verify it's
reproducible. Posting in this GMF group is a good first step, though,
just to make sure it's not something you are overlooking.
