Database Row Ownership #wiki

Hi ya,

Thinking about taking our roster and converting from excel to a .io database table.? I noticed one feature of allowing users to create rows, but edit the rows they create. That's perfect for us.? BUT I need to be able to create a row for our member and assign him as the row owner.? Can this be done.? I don't want our admin to have to manage all the?phone number/address changes, but also don't want one user to be able to change the info for another.?

Kind of related could it be possible later to make some columns editable by the row owner and others only by the moderators???

Thanks,
Steve

Have a look at the recent conversation at /g/GroupManagersForum/topic/11459604? I think it will cover most of your questions.

Duane,

Thanks for the fast reply.

So I can't do what I need at this point.? Basically allow moderators to change row ownership.?? Maybe add this and column level security to?the "maybe, possibly, hopefully a new future feature" list?

Thanks, Steve
