We're sorry to see you go, but we will be happy to delete your account. Note that we will not be able to delete your account if you are the only owner of at least one group. If that's the case, you should either transfer ownership to someone else, or delete the group before requesting that your account be deleted. Owners are equal in every way, there's nothing special about the owner that happened to create the group. The key phrase in that help text is "only owner". Jim Higgins #15389 I think what you want to do is UNSUBSCRIBE from the group, not DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT on Groups.io. Deleting your account will remove you from every group you belong to AND also delete your account on Groups.io... unless you're the owner of any of the groups you subscribe to. Groups.io does not allow a group to become ownerless via unsubscription by the only Owner. If you really do want to delete your Groups.io account, you need to replace yourself as owner of any groups you own... after which you can delete your account. Tamra All Messages By This Member #15399 I think I would change the properties of the original owners who are on the board of directors.? ?I am guessing that the owners will remain in the group but would leave their designated 'control' as owner of the group when the time served as a board member ends.
