change made from outside of group?
As moderator, I received the following email message earlier today from groups.io (with an actual name and addresses, of course). I looked through the activity log and it displays the same information. How do I find out who from what group actually made this change??

Group members can change their own email address. And if the group member belongs to more than one group, it automatically changes the email address in other groups too.
See the help message - /helpcenter/single/accounts/accounts_email_changing.htm

The Help page points out that the member can create a new account if they don't want all groups to be changed.

Lots of detailed information can be found in the Owners Manual and Members Manual found in the Help Center. |

IIRC, it’s controlled mainly by the user, who change their email address set up aliases, etc. I also know groups.io isn’t happy with multiple user’s & emails in different browsers. It’s happiest with a single login, multiple groups and possibly usernames.
I have a drop-down for selecting the active group.
