Hashtagging Calendar Event #calendar #hashtags

Wanting to set a hashtag for an event (so that it could e.g. be muted), I just added it at the end of the event name, thus "Another Test Event #Test", as I would to the subject of an ordinary message, but it did not take effect as expected - it just had the hashtag '#cal-reminder' on the reminder message, when I expected it to have '#Test' also.?

Should I be doing something different? Or have I found a bug? I think it used to work that way (see handling of 'Group Managers Forum subscription reminder #admin' monthly event in this group).

This is a bug.? It appeared when Mark started copying mid-subject hashtags to the end of the line on regular messages.? I reported it on Dec 19, but I think you should, too.? It may just be in backlog since he was on vacation for awhile.

Have reported it it to support...

I did a some further testing, which showed that '#word,' (note comma), as created on appending event date/time to the title, is not seen as a valid hashtag.

I believe this has been fixed, based on this line in the #changelog for the week:
BUGFIX: Changed the subject lines of event notifications to use a dash instead of comma, which was breaking hashtag processing.

I haven't had a new Event reminder yet, but will have in a few days.

I've tested it, and yes, it's all fixed.

But one thing which has emerged from testing this is that changing the date/time of an event, so it occurs again (the following day/whenever), will not cause a second #cal-notice message to be sent at the revised time, although additional #cal-reminder messages are generated. Will feed this back to support...
