Sample database?
As a new comer to groups.io, wondering what a database might give me? Can anybody point me at a (public - i.e. one I don't have to join a group to look at) database for an idea, or advise what they have one in their group for?
I'm sure once I have the idea as to why, I'll be able to sort out the how (especially with the advice in the wiki). Thanks, Jeremy |
Jeremy,
Can anybody point me at a (public - i.e. one I don't have to join aNope. Unlike Messages, Calendar or the Wiki, the Database (and the other web features) cannot be made publicly visible (i.e. non-members). or advise what they have one in their group for?In my alumni groups I've used them to keep a shared address book for our classmates, and an index of Yearbook pages for each classmate. ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýMaybe members of this group could add example databases (kinda ?like templates) to this group.
Is it possible to copy a database (really just one table) from one group ?to another?

My small group just formed and hasn¡¯t used the database function, but I can imagine the following uses for a database:
