how to delete a subgroup

 

I have a couple of subgroups on my main group that have lost steam and i'd like to remove them...

Rachel -- You'll find a "Delete Group" button at the bottom of each subgroup's Settings page. Be?absolutely sure?you're in the proper subgroup settings page, not your primary group, when you do this!

You will have to type "I understand" to confirm the deletion...no "cat walking across the keyboard problem" here.

Thanks! I had done it but it didn't take and upon another look I realized that I didn't type "I understand" to confirm the deletion.

Go to your subgroup homepage, then go to Admin, Settings for that subgroup.?
At the bottom right, there is a delete group.

JUST be sure that you are in your subgroup, not your main group.?

How do I create a new Owner for a Subgroup?? The previous Owner is deceased.

I am an Owner/Moderator for the Main group.??

Rush, as the owner of the main group you can go to the subgroup¡¯s member listing, choose any member (including yourself), and change their Role from ¡°member¡± to ¡°owner.¡±?
