Two Yahoo Groups Into One Groups.io Group

Before we migrate, a question has come up regarding the potential to merge two (possible three) Yahoo groups into one Groups.io group.? Is this possible and what would be the logistics (i.e. costs) that would be involved?? If this isn't something the list here can definitively answer, is there a contact I could reach out to for a definitive answer?

Thanks!

Kurt

It's my understanding that you can merge groups in this manner if you want to, paying only one Premium Yearly fee of $110.? You can also transfer a related group (perhaps a board of directors or a committee) into a subgroup of the main (members) group.

I wouldn't go too crazy with this, though. You could inadvertently create a mess that doesn't work for anybody.

Your best resource would be an email to [email protected]. Be sure to include a descriptive subject line ("Merging Yahoo groups via transfer" or something to that effect) along with a clear statement of what you plan to do.

Bruce
