trying to forward from a gmail acct to sub group

I created a gmail acct and set up a forward on it to send all emails to the sub group.? Gmail sent a code to the subgroup but the message was rejected.The response from the remote server was:
510 5.1.1 Your email address,?forwarding-noreply@..., is not subscribed to that group. To subscribe, send an email to?[email protected], or visit?? the email from googe needs the one time?reponse?code to allow acceptance? of the forwarded messages from is lamrsoc@...? ? lloyd lehrer, MANHATTAN BEACH, CA?

Go to Admin>Integrations and click on Email Integrations. On the resulting page, provide a name for the integration and click the Add button. Groups.io will return a [lengthy] post-only email address for the subgroup; any messages sent to that address will post, regardless of origin.
