How do polls work?

I try to create a poll, and all I got were messages back to me. I never was able to go back to the pool and look at it. It did not exist as a separate entity. I was expecting something more like yahoogroups.

To summarize: created poll. Seven answers came directly to me. Went back to poll feature. No evidence I had ever been there before. Great disappointment. Look for information in help section. Nothing. Now asking for help here.

Someone else might answer more fully, but have you seen the wiki page on polls?

More help: use the search button at the top of the Messages list.

By default any poll email should be tagged as #poll. If you do a search of the messages in your list does that not come up?

In addition to what Frances and Kenny have provided, you will have to train your subscribers to click the "Vote Now" button and log into groups.io to respond to a poll. If those seven folks you mention didn't log in and instead sent you reply emails, their votes will not be logged.

Hope this helps,
Bruce?
