?I have been "kicking the tires" on groups io and have some questions: what is the current version number, how many users, how large is the support staff, is a mobile app forthcoming, Are? references available, what was the release date of the first non beta version.
My organization is currently using big tent for a communication system.? Unfortunately big tent is going out of business on December 31.

I don't know if there are version numbers. Certainly none user-facing that I know of. Note that GMF is a user-to-user community so we don't have access to internal information.

That said, have a look at the #changelog hashtag, either in GMF or in the beta group - you'll see that there are multiple updates nearly every week.

I think the answer is "a couple million", based on user ID numbers that have been spotted. How many of those are still active might be anyone's guess.

It was once said to be. Seems to be back-burner as the responsive web pages work pretty well on mobile.

Groups.io no longer seems to be flying the Beta flag on its home page, but I'm not sure when that happened. The doors were opened to the public in September of 2014 (see the About link at the bottom of every Groups.io page).
