Member Mad that she got Unsubbed

A member, who is a co-owner of a Yahoogroup that was transferred to IO, is mad that she got a notice that she wasn't a member anymore.? She said she did not mark it as spam.? She went so far as to say "Yahoo never did this to me."? !!??
Is there another reason this can happen?? Can you point me to the Wiki where this is explained and I'll share with her?? Thanks...? mary

Check the Activity log for the group.? It will say if she was removed for marking a message as spam.? Unfortunately, it may not have been done actively.? There are some email services that use a 'faulty' spam filter that puts things in the spam folder that it shouldn't.? Then, if the member doesn't notice and mark it as not spam, when the service automatically deletes it after awhile, it gets reported to Groups.io who removes the member.? This is required so that the site doesn't get a bad reputation causing the email service to block all emails from here.? It didn't happen on YG because they ignored the reports.

Depending on her email domain, they certainly could automatically be vectoring group posts to the spam/junk file.? If she doesn't actively check that folder for valid messages that got put in there and mark it "not junk/not spam" - then the filter will continue to mark it thus, and as said below, once the automated system takes over, the user likely will never see it.? She can get mad all she wants, but in the end, it is she, not the system, that has the responsibility for making sure the posts from groups.io are marked as "safe" (or "whitelisted" or whatever terminology her anti-spam/anti-malware filter uses).

But? actually, Yahoo did this to her.? Yahoo and two of their email customers ATT and Verizon are the worst? for this type of action.
They also have filters that "recognize" nasty words.? Our genetic disease is Fuchs'.? Not hard to imaging how yahoo sometimes freaks out with that. She will just have to start checking her spam folder. She would have received a special message from groups,.io that this was happening and that message has a magic autoenroll link that's active for 3 days after being unsubscribed. AOL marks a lot of messages submitted through Groups.io groups as Spam. ? IF the user will simply look through their email and mark them as not being spam, that will resolve the problem of being unsubbed when all Spam is deleted. ? As well, when spam is deleted and a person is unsubscribed to your group, when this action happens, they will receive a link to click on and be back in the group again. ? Remember: AOL and Yahoo are both owned by Verizon now.? Neither has any particular reason to be "generous" to groups.io or any other competition for that matter.? The same rules apply about checking your spam/junk folders and making sure your system marks groups.io as safe or put on a white list.
