Transfer instructions #transfer

Sorry, I got this message but it is not very clear to me.

"Send an email to [email protected] saying that you are ready to transfer your group. Make sure you include the names of both your old Yahoo Group and new Groups.io group in your email. The email should be sent from the same address as the owner of your Groups.io group."

Does this mean the e-mail address I registered on Groups.io to create my group?

Thanks,
Marina

Yes

"It has always seemed strange to me," said Doc. "The things we admire in
men, kindness and generosity, openness, honesty, understanding and feeling
are the concomitants of failure in our system. And those traits we detest,
sharpness, greed, acquisitiveness, meanness, egotism and self-interest are
the traits of success." STEINBECK - CANNERY ROW

Not necessarily. I created a group about a year and a half ago, using a certain email address, to hold for moving a yahoogroup. Right before the move about three weeks ago, I subscribed a different email address and made it and owner/moderator. The new email address is the one I used to correspond with [email protected]. So, apparently, as long as it's an owner or moderator, it can be used for that purpose.

For these purposes it's correct, since the person just joined and created the group.
