how quickly until a group is approved

Just started an alumni group that I was hoping to post to today. Didn't realize that one couldn't post until the group was "approved."
Does anyone know how long it typically takes before a group is approved? Is it minutes, hours, days? Trying to figure out if I'll need to send out my time sensitive message another way. Thanks! ?

Paid groups get priority, but even they will get approved faster if there's a good description for the group.? It will also depend on Mark's (site owner) personal situation - sickness, overseas vacation, etc.
