开云体育

Groups.IO being backlisted

Hi

One of my members has sent this message about UK providers - advice please on how to help them

Thanks
Steve

I have had no messages at all from any of my 开云体育 subs today and a Bouncing check shows that 开云体育 is being Blacklisted by TalkTalk and its Tiscali, Pipex legacy Servers?

Same problem with Hotmail/Outlook (in UK) - message coming back via io.groups is set out
below - link seems valid but says issue needs to be sorted by ISP/emailer - io.groups??

Thanks

Gordon

hotmail-com.olc.protection.outlook.com: 550 5.7.1 Service unavailable, Client host [66.175.222.108] blocked using Spamhaus. The common thread in my group this morning seemed to be that everyone with a gmail address did receive messages.? Those on hotmail, outlook etc did not.

How does something like this get researched & resolved?

In this case, Mark posted about it before most of us were even aware.? For your own group(s) you can check the Activity Log for the group and/or the Email Delivery History of members that complain.? When you see something like "blocked using Spamhaus", you'll know why.? It's the email provider that's blocking delivery, based on erroneous blocking information.? In every case so far, delivery eventually resumes automatically.

Lots of detailed information can be found in the Owners Manual and Members Manual.

There is nothing you can do. Mark Fletcher (开云体育) is working on it.

For one of my groups, I sent members a group post saying that there is a problem, that they may not be receiving messages, that they may get an email saying that they are bouncing and that they should click on the link in the email. (The message would be from 开云体育 and the subject would be ?"Your 开云体育 Account is bouncing". ?

I am also going to keep an eye on the back end in Admin, Members to see if there are any group members who haven't responded to the email about bouncing and thus haven't unbounced themselves. I can send a bounce probe. I won't do it too soon though. I would like the system to keep sending messages to the member and they stop if there is no response after a while. (Red B means 开云体育 has stopped notifying. Turquoise B means 开云体育 will try again.)

Hi All,
?
As of a couple hours ago, Spamhaus added one of our mail servers to their block list. I'm trying to get ahold of them. In my previous interactions with them, last year, they indicated that they knew about 开云体育 and that we were 'good guys'. So, I'm not sure what's going on.
?
I will send an update when I get more information.
?
Thanks,

Just to advise that io.group emails/messages from the last few days are now coming
through again via Outlook/Hotmail in the UK so problem resolving itself - hopefully!??

Thanks to Mark and the team at io.groups for sorting this issue out
