Unlikely. On our old Listserve we just moved from, every part would get about 20 out of office replies. But it was an ancient technology Listserve.

That doesn't even mean there is any filtering. It? more likely that people either don't use an autoresponder, or that they set it the correct way to not respond to non-personal messages.
