Are you sure that you actually joined the group?? The archives there are public, so you could read them without being a member.? Check their home page, /g/bookerprize, and scroll

No, no, no. The were deleted by Yahoo years ago. Yahoo just decided one day to strip all attachments from messages. After that they were stored separately in files, but anything before that was gone.

This usually means that you are logged in under a different email address than the one subscribed to that group. In groups.io, your email address IS your user ID. There is no separate account
