Just a quick addition to Shal's remarks.? My group's transferred messages contains a special header field called "X-Yahoo-Msgnum" that should correspond to the original Yahoo message id.

Disallowing attachments also disallows pictures.
This is probably done because the New Topic and Reply editors add pictures as attachments to the message. The image that appears in the message
