Yes, never setup your system at nite or with power on. ?Or plug/unplug motor leads with power on ! It only takes a minor attention gap and you can miss key the one connector and make it fit

Nikul, You are in Arizona and it is unusual in that the local time there is the same as California. The normal longitudes where local time is set up is off in that area. I don't think (who does) G-2
