Re: Pointing model, modelling
HI Luis, the model is saved automatically and will be re-used automatically until you clear it by doing a Cold Start (or a Gemini Reset).

Pointing model, modelling
One question, Each time that you perform a pointing model ?is it necessary to save it, and download after the new warm restart, or Gemini 1 does it automatically? Luis

Re: Guiding trouble with Gemini I and PHD2
Macdonjh, I have experienced the very same slewing error at times but it is intermittent. I doubt it is your alignment; I drift align every time and check with PHD2. I also can easily hold a star for

Re: Guiding trouble with Gemini I and PHD2
Jonathan and Paul Kanevsky, Thank you for responding.? I hate to think my polar alignment is bad.? I spent a long time over two nights doing an old school drift alignment.? It takes five minutes

Re: Guiding trouble with Gemini I and PHD2
Hi, With Gemini 1 you'll want to make sure that the Gemini.NET ASCOM driver is set *not* to use precision pulse-guiding option. That didn't work well in G1, but became the default, and only option in

Re: Guiding trouble with Gemini I and PHD2
I have found that bad polar alignment can affect orthogonality measurements as the star drifts while phd tries to measure dec movement. Also large PE can affect that as RA drifts during the

Guiding trouble with Gemini I and PHD2
Hello Gemini I.? I realize I may also have an MI-250 problem, so I've cross-posted this. I've been working through all the growing pains of a new imager.? I think I'm close to getting useable data,

Re: Rescuing Gemini-1 Board
Hi Dale. the battery for that PCB is a SMD (Surface mount type) CR2032 battery and holder with side positive clip (positive is towards the top of the PCB. ?That¡¯s if it¡¯s defiantly that version

Re: Rescuing Gemini-1 Board
Which battery holder to fit depends on the board revision, as the footprint of the holders used are different. It¡¯s possible to use a 2450 battery holder with an early PCB but it does involve

That was exactly the problem, Paul. I had checked the "Flip using Go-To" but not the "Report pier side" box. My GM811G HD is working great again. I wasted a lot of time over one unchecked box. I'll
