I found on eBay an ad for 'AVEOX PCB 3050475-00 REV F Conrol Board ASSY' as New Open Box.? There a few listed from various sellers.

It appears to be the exact PCB used in the latest Gemini 2 controllers.? So I purchased one to see if it could be used as a spare.? I installed the battery and a SD card copied from my existing unit.

I asked the seller if it had been flashed with any basic firmware, and of course he didn't know.? I am unable to get it to show any signs of life.? My Ethernet port scanner doesn't find it and device manager fails to show it as a com port or USB device.? I suspect that it lacks any permanent firmware that allows Gemini2 firmware installation.

Not sure if this is the same PCB Losmandy uses and if so how is the PCB prepared for use.

I am not recommending that anyone buy this item, and If I can't make it work as a spare, I'll be returning it.

Any ideas?

It looks like a proper PCB. ?Post some pics front and back we can tell. ? Sounds like ARM is either dead or blank?

Yep, I'm guessing the ARM is blank.? Anyone know how to flash it and with what?

Does Losmandy flash them or buy them already flashed?

Make a copy of your G2 mini's micro SD card and then program the bootloader that has just been released and also program the servo PIC chips.? Maybe it will work??

Well it’s all there. ?The ARM is missing its sticker so no FW or bootloader installed. ?Cannot quite read the dspicc sticker they may need flashing as well?

I kinda wonder how these got on fleabay for sale ? ?Seconds? but they shouldn’t have! ? ?You cannot tell unless you do pin to pin of every part

But ….maybe you will get lucky if you flash bootloader and use GFU ??

I would return it (I would not have bought it in the first place actually).

Then, if you really want a spare, buy a genuine from Losmandy.

That's what I figured so I bought it.? It says it is returnable, new and guaranteed to be working.? Should get here in a couple of days, we will see...??
