Early "tall boy" Gemini-II

开云体育

Does anyone here in UK have an early model “tall boy” Gemini-II controller that I could borrow for a while to checkout a reported problem with the Level 6 firmware?

?

Cheers, David

?

I have one yes (I think! Assuming there's only the original and the Mini) - how soon do?you need it?

(I'm on crutches so I may not be able to get it out of the dome in short order - if someone else has one it might be better, but happy to help if needs be).?

Thank you!

It *may* not be necessary – I’ll know by end of the weekend if I do need it.

David,

There are about 3 versions of the “tall G2s”. ?

One with the jumpers and RS232 transorb protection, one without the jumpers but still has the transorbs and another without the transorb on the RS232 chips. ?

Some earlier Tall G2s had some mods to the H bridge (capacitors and resistors fitted) to stop the motors jumping at switch on. ?Not sure if this was just for maxon motors. ?I think there was a stage there was a maxon motor seperate dsPIC firmware. ??? ?This was “way back”.

But the firmware supposedly suits all now. ?But the hardware mods may still be in place.?

FWIW?
