Can Gemini-II save/recall multiple mount limits?
I was recently given a Celestron Omni 102 XLT refractor OTA, which I plan on mounting on my G11G. I've already set up the mount with limits for my two SCT's, but this long refractor is definitely going to have different limits! I was wondering if there was a way to save sets of limits in the Gemini, and switch between them depending on what OTA is on the mount? I don't mind having to change the limits manually when I change the OTA, but it would be nice if I didn't have to! (One less thing for me to forget, with possibly disastrous results)

Hi LKO there is only one set of limits, so short answer is you'll have to change them manually. It's possible to record them and just type in the new values (rather than retrain your mount) or you could also use the more conservative of the limits values and just stick with one. That¡¯s no problem, I can work with that. I can easily record the numbers and change them out when I go from SCT to refractor. Just wanted to check. I don¡¯t think I want to used the more restrictive limits for everything, because the SCTs will have a lot better range of motion than that refractor will!
