Hi Carl, you can update directly from L5 to L6.11. You should also consider updating to the new (v3.0) servo firmware which increases encoder resolution 4x. This was first introduced with L6 . This

Chip I saw Paul's reply and found the instructions. Interesting as it seems you can do visual at the scope with minimal equipment. I assume you still have to have a good PA and you get 1 mas accuracy?
