Re: G2 how to select/use one of several PEC curves saved
Thank you Paul for the clear explanation. So when I perform one PEC training, that will obviously become the current (only?) file. I will delete the unnecessary PEC files. Fred

Hi Fred, and Happy Holidays! First, I'm really not sure why you need multiple PEC curves. PEC curve primary function is to correct for worm-drive periodic error. That error is mostly due to

Hello and Merry Christmas Happy Hannukah. With the G2 and no PemPro (Mac computer), how do I select a specific PEC curve to use? I recently saved a few curves, two for each side of the meridian. I

I'm in a Mac environment so not sure how to get this latest version loaded. The last update was done by Losmandy when I dropped off my mount for servicing. Where can I find instructions if they exist?

Re: Meridian Flips GM8 & Asiair
Can you get updated to the current releases?? You should have Gemini firmware L6.1 and version 1.63 for the hand controller. Then have a look at Paul's posts on using the new firmware flip settings

Meridian Flips GM8 & Asiair
I tried my first Meridian flip this evening. Asiair counted it down and when it was time, the scope moved slightly and was never able to go to the correct coordinates. It was just hanging so I stopped

I'm really not sure what you were trying to do with flip points. They act just like the Goto limit, except for the differences I already highlighted earlier in this thread. You can still use the West

Meridian flip points are set up *past* the meridian by the number of degrees that you specify. Negative numbers are not supported, AFAIK.

Re: New Gemini L6.1 and Hand Controller v1.63 firmware available!
Hi Doug, The meridian used in flip point definition is not using the pointing model to transform the position to true sky position. It's rather a position 90 degrees relative to CWD in RA. The same
