Re: Meridian Flip - Stopped Working
these are comm errors, so you need to try different components to see what is causing the issue I suggest trying a different USB cable and/or trying to connect via ethernet (swapping the USB cable is

Re: problem with my Gemini
Hi Michael thresholds? It will show the correct voltage. The Red and yellow warning levels are inaccurate and will be fixed in a future update. The battery voltage is good down to about 2.0v

Re: problem with my Gemini
Hi Brian, first of all thank you for your answer. Just one last question:Is the voltage control on the web interface reliable, the yellow and red thresholds? Cordially Michael nvoy¨¦ : 17 f¨¦vrier

Thanks for the write-up Bob. Any word on how it finds and tracks objects. Thanks, John Desbiens

Re: problem with my Gemini
Hi Michael A new battery will discharge quickly down to around 2.9-3.0v and remain steady for several years. That is normal. If you believe your settings are being lost? Ensure the battery contacts

problem with my Gemini
Hello everyone, I have a problem with my Gemini, I come to you to solve it if possible. After a few tries with the web interface, the sites now remain in memory, which was not the case. On the other

Update. With the scope connected to my imaging laptop ( via usb as usual ), I thought I'd set the home position. When I do that I get 2 errors:? serial port time out, and ascom communication error. I

Re: Asiair problems
Barry, The mismatched time and location data also includes epoch. I don't know which update to which device resolved the issue. But with L5 it was always a little bit off when using Gemini-2 to GOTO

Re: Asiair problems
Hi Barry, So you likely have the production level 5 firmware and similar HC firmware. It has been a while but AFAIK all you need to do is set the MOVE speed to 500 in the Gemini-2 or so using the web

Re: New Stellarmate
That's a good point! I did something similar, giving up on stellarmate because it was too slow, and switching to running astroberry on my RPI4. I will give this new stellarmate a try though, hopefully
Re: Meridian Flip - Stopped Working
Checked CWD and just a tad off -- did not impact problem.? I wonder at what point I need to get a new unit or perhaps a reflashing of firmware? Still hoping its something simple.

Re: Meridian Flip - Stopped Working
Thanks for replying. The image capture program solves/syncs as part of its target acquisition - unless the sync needs to occur within the gemini software. I will play with with CWD to check for drift.

Re: Meridian Flip - Stopped Working
Check that prior to the flip you have performed a sync/plate solve+sync and check the Hour angle and Time to Limit correspond to each other. (ie, at HA=0 when crossing the meridian, the time to limit

I had a Stellarmate. Gave it a good honest college try for many months. I found it very unstable and unreliable. I tried and tried. Even reach out online for help. Still had problems. Finally I gave

Re: G11 g2 tracking Issues
fully support the suggestion. take careful note (and a few photos, and lay out parts carefully) of the order of washers, spacers, bearings and the plastic clutch disc as you disassemble it.

Re: New Stellarmate
I do like realvnc on the raspberry pi, but I have to say that the built-in vnc on Ubuntu works faster on the mele. The only potential issue I see see is battery performance -- I haven't tested it yet,
