I choose a Losmandy vendor close to me..the nearest to where I live in MA is in PA. When I contacted them, they told me that they had several buyers cancel out, which would put me 3rd on their list. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone "estimated 3 weeks". Now I wasn't born yesterday ;), but he seemed sincere enough. Since I am paying cash, they are going to contact me when Losmandy ships the mount and we will do either a wire transfer or a check. If it ends up taking way longer than promised, I can always go elsewhere. I hope that does not happen , as I tend to be a loyal customer to those who treat me right and I have a fairly decent budget to buy astrogear on a continuing basis. If I were a vendor I would not want to loose me as a customer on a bad promise. To tell you the truth if the guy had told me June that would have been fine also, as long he is honest with me!
I will let eveyone know how it works out, but if you do some detective work on what I said, you could probably figure out who the vendor is! I never like to say bad or even good things about folks until I have an honest criteria to do so...and even then I remember my Dad always said...if you don't have anything nice to say about someone, don't say anything and everyone will be better off!

There are others who have been on order for a few months at this point, so you would make them envious! Seriously, if you are able to get a 3 week delivery time, others may have an interest in where your order was placed. I'm expecting mine within the next 2 weeks or so.
