3 questions on Bennett Brown in Fannin Co., GA
Hi Group, My name is Mitzi. Bennett Brown (my g, g grandfather) shows up in the 1860 Georgia Militia District 1029, Fannin Co., GA. 1) I'm wondering where that is? Is there a map that would show this? 2) I am wondering about the 3rd son, Agdore?, in the 1860 census. Who this was? Bennett lives in Fannin County until about 1871 when he buys land on Potato Creek in Cherokee County, NC. He dies in Cherokee Co., NC in 1879. 3) I am wondering if there are any records to access for Fannin County to find out when Bennett might have moved TO Fannin County? I have him in Orange County, NC as late as 1848, and then he disappears until the 1860 census. Thank you, -- Mitzi A.
