Thank you, Tim. My ancestors lived in Butts but left in time to be on the 1840 census in Alabama. Andrew Jackson Kirksey born 1835 His father was Gideon Kirksey b. 1800 SC and married Nancy Kirksey in Butts Co. in 1830. Her parents were Elisha Smith Kirksey and Patience Harris of Iredell Co. NC.
