Hello
I am looking for a PCB layout for the exiter LPF and BPF as well as the amplifier
I work with Sprintlayout and trace the boards. Some layouts can also be found in the archive but not everything
I am missing the layout of the bandpass module. You can trace this using the pictures in the manual but the question is whether there are ground planes on both sides or only at the top.
The exiter only has ground planes on the underside.
I have started with the exiter and am working on it
I have also replaced the wired ADE-1 mixer with the SMD version as the old version can hardly be found anymore

Hello
I have started with the reconstruction of the exiter.
I wanted to have the MK2 version with the toroidal transformers.
I found a picture of it in the filebase.
I loaded it into Sprintlayout as a template and started to redraw the board.
I have finished adapting it to an SMD mixer ADE-1
and to other parts I have here.

This is the current status but I still have to change something with the mixers

Now you convert it to smd. Using 1206 size for ease of soldering. Not a big issue , i suppose.?

Cool. I once did partly and them stopped. We get ubitx v3, 4, 5 and 6? here in India that covers all bands . Thus no need to make single piece .

I have been thinking about replacing the VFO/Bandswitching board with something that will enable CAT commands. Or building something that allows easy interoperation.... This should allow operation of ATU and more importantly control of my Mag Loop tuner:?
Something to work on now that I am 'mostly retired' - maybe over the winter of 2025-2026... 73 Tony
