Hi dear Om Addy...Thanks for replay... now with the MK1,Im' able to receive stations in 15m band and 10 m band with excellent sound quality...and to improve the TX performance in 15m and 10m bands, I've replaced that Q10 and Q11 with C1906 RF Transistor..The result was positive..!!

Date: Monday, 4 April, 2016, 4:18 PM Hi Reji The MK1 exciter board was somewhat experimental and had a few issues so I never developed it any further or offered any boards or kits. I addressed all issues with the MK1 with my MK2 project so you could take a look at the documentation for that and see if you can modify and upgrade your MK1. One of the problems I experienced with the MK1 is poor bandwidth in the transmit strip especially on the higher bands so that is prob why you have problems with 21Mhz and 28Mhz but it could be an issue with the bandpass filter. Good luck with your project. Regards Andy de G6LBQ. |
