Headphones

Hi all.? New to the group.? I thought the headphone jack on the G106's handheld mic was stereo.? I'm only getting sound to one side with it.? I've tried several stereo headphones that work correctly on the X6100, but don't work properly on the G106.? Am I missing something?? Is the G106 jack supposed to be mono?? Thanks for any help!

Hey Tony,
?
?Yes it's a mono, I suppose because the speaker is a single in the mic... but also probably cost savings...
?
?You'll see here in the forum there's been some posts by the CW/DATA heads here we've got a work around to get a headphone in the front and it pipes in the audio to both sides of the headphones though not stereo it feels better to have both ears getting the same sound.
?
?There's also a nice enclosure I've seen on the thingverse for 3D printing to make a box that will give you a better headphone jack and spot for the mic for SSB use.
?
? Hope that's something of an answer for you.

Thanks.? For now I’ll just get a mono-to-stereo adapter.? Mono to both sides of the headset.
