FSO & Sulphur
There seems to be quite a connection of FSO & sulphur. Does that apply only to sources of sulphur found in yogurt & cottage cheese. Or, does that apply to cruciferous foods as well? I'm not thinking of having FSO & sauerkraut for breakfast, but there's other possibilities. Or, is this really related to FSO, sulphur AND high amounts of protein? If protein is a key factor, what forms of protein is needed? e.g. - the animal protein found in the above mentioned dairy products; or, plant protein (e.g. - whey); or, doesn't it matter?

A retired professor of food technology and Biochemistry in our PCa support group said that the sulfur based proteins are in the members of the cabbage family. I have some questions, however. In order to make the Omega 3 available to the body, it needs to bond, or be mixed as much as possible, with the needed sulfur based proteins. I have read there are only three such proteins and all are in cottage cheese. I have no idea of how much cabbage, broccoli, or whatever would need to be mixed with the cottage cheese. Just some thoughts. Cliff -----Original Message-----

As I understand, there are three amino acids with sulfur bonds. Cottage cheese, or "Clobbered milk", as Dr. Budwig calls it, has all three in good supply. There are other foods that do as well, but not in that concentration. Just protein does not do it; it needs those three proteins. I don't know how much of which protein goes into the whey.
