According to the former guys, expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the FDA and the CDC, Operation Warp Speed was founded during the Trump administration on May 15, 2020. In fact, the vaccine was already formulated just two weeks after the first case was reported in the US, but because of bureaucratic red tape the vaccine couldn't be made available until months later after thousands had died. Go figure.

As of January 30, 2021, five of the six vaccine candidates have entered phase 3 clinical trials, two of which—Moderna's and Pfizer/BioNTech's vaccines—have received an emergency use authorization from the Food and Drug Administration.
