If the GOP had half a brain, they would convict and vote for the inability of t---- to ever run for office again. Pop the pimple, heat the boil - short term pain for long term gain. Of course, the POS will probably be in jail anyway so the vote for the censure will probably be moot anyway. We can only hope. In the meantime, Rudy has a rather robust lawsuit pending against him by Dominion. LOL

Apparently you have not thought this through. If a US President can be impeached AFTER he leaves office, then in the future, if the Republicans ever get control again, they could impeach any other past US President. It's clearly unconstitutional. YMMV.

It's unfortunate that most of them don't. ?The ones that do can't abide crazy for too long and inevitably leave, Portman being the latest. ?The party of conspiracy theory, under t----, is still basking in the message he sent them as they committed sedition in his name—"you're special; we love you." ?I have the tiniest sliver of hope that the reminder that they were targeted for capture and death by the man they are protecting, and that the actual death of 5 people, will somehow penetrate the psyche of just 17 of them.
