The Corner
I see that our moderator on 'The Corner' has now shut out the interlopers like Sal Sunshine, and some others. Democracy in action. There is the tyranny of authoritarianism, and the tyranny of the majority. There is a loss in any case. As it it, some people do not like other people. The tendency to cohere with those who think like you and shut out those who do not do is universal, in spite of attempts to democratise humanity and discourse. We are still very tribal, because we believe what we think is real.

YMMV.That is incorrect. "agintm" was kicked out because he was bothered by mould in the dome, and would not go to program. He got a doctor's letter to excuse him from programme, but the university would not allow that. He was a baker, not a dishwasher. MIU (as it was called then, and also now) is authoritarian in many ways.? |
开云体育I attempted to join the Corner to prove a point, being very aware that my being shut out was a more than likely possibility. ? Point proven. ?I imagine he can’t stop me from actually joining and at least getting the messages, or else that would have been preferable since I’m fairly sure he doesn’t like the idea of the posts there being reproduced here and subject to ridicule. ?But alas! ?He doesn’t have that ability. ?Censorship ?only goes so far.Sal On Mar 31, 2020, at 9:19 AM, Xenophaneros Anartaxius via Groups.Io <anartaxius@...> wrote:

开云体育Um, WRONG! ?Sorry Xeno but if that’s what he told you he was lying (surprise, surprise). ? This is actually something I have firsthand experience with since I also had a mold allergy and my doctor’s letter worked like a charm. ?They’re not uncommon and there were any number of others who did the same thing. ?MIU can be authoritarian but even they’re usually ?not stupid enough to take on legitimate medical issues. ?So whatever he got booted for, it wasn’t that. ?Maybe he got the letter from a phony “doctor” or something. ? He was a baker, not a dishwasher. So, I stand corrected: the moderator of The Corner did not get kicked out of MUM for failing to wash dishes, since he was the baker. Apparently he got kicked out for objecting to mold in the golden dome. He probably did not get kicked out for being unable to fly, since that's impossible. However, it seems he never completed a course in baking, so maybe he sucked as a baker. Go figure. If he was anything back then like he is today, he most certainly got kicked out of MUM for being insubordinate.?Now the little Nazi is the moderator of a social media discussion group about spiritual freedom and he's being backed up by that other Nazi, Barry W., who just today tried to get Jason Blue banned from The Corner. But, for me, it's not the bullying from the likes of Judy S., that grates - it's the blatant hypocrisy. YMMV. |

And, for trying to start a work cafeteria slowdown with a cadre of disgruntled waiters and dishwashers.? It's pretty obvious why the little Nazi doesn't want you posting over there - you know to much. Because he never completed a course in baking, he probably failed to realize he was supposed to put yeast-mold in the bread to make it rise. His objection to mold in the golden dome was just an excuse for failing to rise up himself. LoL! |

Dissenting opinions are sometimes the most interesting ones, though, so cherry picking your "guests" can sometimes just prove to be more preaching to the choir. Still, Michael built the tree house so he can put up his "members only" sign if he wants which apparently only includes his buddies from FFL who share many of his viewpoints. Seems a bit too predictable that way but each to his own.? |
You’re right and he did, I stand corrected. Still can snoop I just have to actually go to the site first, a minor pain if that. ?And while I agree that someone who started a group should be able to say who he does and doesn’t want on it, they fight dirty by not letting people in but then attacking them whenever they feel like it. ?I think that’s generally called cowardice. But in any case I won’t attempt to reproduce their nonsense over here verbatim as long as they don’t attack. ?Seems fair to me.

Right now they are obsessed with David Icke. You would think they'd be talking about how 5G is life-threatening and that no one knows about it and how it is linked to the pandemic. Everyone knows there are several 5G towers around Wuhan, China. Where is Edg when we need him? Reminds me when that right-wing nutjob spread the story on FB that Hillary Clinton was running a child-sex ring out of the basement of the "Comet Ping Pong" pizza restaurant, until one of them shot up the place. Comet Pizza doesn't even have a basement. Go figure.
?
From what I've read, this 5G conspiracy theory is a very popular topic in Netherlands. There are six main coronavirus conspiracy theories people are talking about over there: that 5G is, somehow, dangerous; that 5G worsens the effects of coronavirus by weakening your immune system; that 5G outright causes coronavirus-like symptoms; that the coronavirus lockdown is being used as cover to install 5G networks; that Bill Gates had something to do with it; and, finally, that this is all an Illuminati mass-murder plot. YMMV.
?
We already know about non-ionising radiation, chemtrails and “deep state” plots to use vaccines and implanted ID chips to control people and remotely shut down their organs. In a Facebook post on March 30, the attorney and anti-vaccination activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., son of Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of former US president John F. Kennedy, also shared the conspiracy theory linking 5G to coronavirus.?Global lockdown, he said, was stopping people from protesting to prevent “5G robber barons from microwaving our country and destroying nature”.?

开云体育Those guys don't know anything about conspiracy theories.? They only know the log lines.? Conspiracy theories and theorists may have well quelled many a conspiracy with the conspirators in fear of being found out.? That is a reasonable assumption. They also seem to lazy to even read some good political science.? They also like to pose as experts on science though there is no evidence that they know much science at all.? It's all about their image hence egos. BTW, I used to know Kevin Kelly back in the 1990s.
