So what's the big deal then??

Mainly the old way can run down batteries when run in the background.? My app didn't run it in the background but just called it when used.? The new FUSE Location system is better and more reliable.? Thing is Android is running that in the background and one is just tapping into the current location.? That's why Google can send users reports of where they've been during the week which BTW a feature that can be turned off.? The technical significance is probably not lost on Willy.

Yes, these concerns are now becoming mainstream and about time.? Google let me know that one of my apps will be removed by March unless updated due to the way it handles GPS.? I was thinking of just removing it myself but there are a number of people using it.? And updating to their newer location system is actually simpler than the old way and I have it already in my recent apps.? This app and another go all the way back to 2009 when Google Play was called the Android Market.

Or deplatform doctors and scientists who question the dialectic of the government on the Covid issue.

Note that the above link also includes the insert to Abbot's PCR test which is an interesting read.

The guys on The Corner act like they want to return to total ignorance.? They're doing well in that quest. ?

Go Pauly!

The most streams ever recorded in a single week in the UK is 17.1 million, a record claimed by Wham's Last Christmas in December 2019. Apparently Anne-Marie is about to go number 1 in the UK soon. When you've got grand kids around the house all the time you tend to keep up with these things. YMMV.

You figure it out.
That's one rabbit hole I'll refrain from falling into, thanks.

I wonder if the tendency toward conspiracy theories and this idea that one is privy to special knowledge not commonly known by others are common bedfellows. In B2's case he likes to imagine himself wise and worldly and in-the-know beyond other mere mortals. He'll rub it in your face every chance he gets.?
Good analysis.? I wonder why Willy goes to the effort to voluminously post things he knows are BS.? What's the payoff?? The occasional reply by me?? Am I all that?? LOL.? Willy's ass has grown roots in his computer chair. His life is the internet chat forums. He has nothing better to do than call his army of trained monkeys to the keyboard to see what mayhem they can cause for the unsuspecting but sincere forum participants. When you reply to him in your earnestness and sanity you are falling into what-passes-for-his-amusement trap. Save your energy and ignore him like the rest of us do. Maybe he'll call off his monkeys and decide to do something useful with the short time he has remaining in his wasteland of a life.

Hey Ann, have you looked into Paul McCartney's latest album released in December 2020. McCartney III.

Pretty good job. I hope he still has a few more numbers left in him. Makes our life tolerable.
