Barry is off on another idiotic rant… again. ?Apparently he’s too obsessed…still!… to grok that my nom de plume was obviously meant sardonically, and of course he takes time out of his busy, busy day to bash Judy, I guess because he’s, um, bored maybe? ?Who knows what demons lurk within, apparently every now and then he just has to get it all out, no doubt drunk-posting while most likely walking around outside accosting random strangers and talking to himself while spinning in circles.

I often suggested, back in the days of the original FFL and its successor FFL-2, that many of its "regulars" had absolutely nothing to say. To hide this fact, they focused on a few "treasured hate objects," and *pretended* to have something original to say by taking offense at everything these people said so that they could scream at them. I predicted at the time that if the people these folks focused on ever lost interest and went away, the remaining FFLers would be revealed as having officially Nothing To Say.?

The first proof of this theorem came when FFL/Yahoo went dead and a number of FFL-2's wiser folks threw the remaining FFL-2 whiners to the curb and joined The Corner rather than participate in Ravi's Reincarnated FFL. At that point, without me and Salyavin and Michael and a few others to scream at, Judy lasted only a few days, vowing to "check in" at least once a week, but never doing so. The rest of the former-FFL women had to "make do" at that point by screaming at Willytex and, occasionally, Bhairitu.?Well, a few weeks back Ann (the best of the lot) beat feet, no longer willing to tolerate Willytex's bullshit any more. And then more recently, Ravi decided to Nuke the Texas Twat altogether, so for the first time in decades nobody had him to scream at any more.?

The result? It seems to be silent as a tomb over there, proving my contention that the remaining posters really *don't* have anything to say unless they've got someone to scream at or bitch about.?

So consider this a "pity post," tossed out so that Sally Sunshine (a misnomer if there ever was one) and Emily can have something to act outraged about, and thus pretend that they actually have something to say.? :-)?

But wait. If they *DO* get their panties in a bunch and react to this post, made *on a completely different forum*, won't that be a tacit admission that they really *DON'T* have anything to say, and thus that they *still* have to depend on their "treasured hate objects" from years back to find something worth saying??

I guess we'll see... ?? :-)? :-)? :-)

Re: Anyone here interested in Maharishi Mahesh Yogi or Transcendental Meditation??

That's awesome Em - have fun and good luck.

I was in India last month for about 2 and half weeks (on account of my mom's sickness - she's good now), traveling international after a long time and visiting India after 6 years. Of course was a little wary, but everyone was going about their business, indoor masking - few outdoors. I wasn't too worried, having been vaccinated and being asymptomatic even after being in close contact with at least 2 family members getting sick here. Even drinking chai at roadside and smoking, though maintained as much distance as is possible in India. Travels domestically have been Hawaii, Atalnta & Pittsburgh over the summer, working from home at least till February which would make it 2 years of working from home.
