Microsoft to unveil new version of Windows on June 24 Windows 11?? Nobody seems to know for sure but I do know that Visual Studio supports Linux and even runs it on a VM to compile Android apps.? I've been previewing Maui which is the replacement for Xamarin used for cross platform development.? It's going to be even easier to create one app and have it run on Windows, Android, iOS and MacOS (and a few others).? As I've said before if you want Windows more secure ditch the old NT kernal and run the Windows on top of Linux.? Many agree with that idea. |

Re: It's Time to Go
开云体育Please do stay if you can Ann. I do read your posts and enjoy your wit and wisdom. I guess forums such as these are relics of the past and folks have moved elsewhere FB, Twitter, Reddit and we can't get enough folks to create a vibrant exchange of ideas at this point to drown out posters like Uncle Willy, but do we give up? We need you ?

While I appreciate Ravi's attempt to create a forum for idea exchange it has devolved into Willytex WorldThanks for posting all these years, Ann! You dropping out won't make any difference. I've been posting to these discussion groups since 1995, trying to be civil and spark a discussion. It didn't make any difference - nobody wants to talk about meditation anymore, or post comments on yoga poses. I must have posted over 20,000 on-topic comments on Usenet by now. Hey! I've written a whole online book! I'm not saying that nobody cares, but nobody cares. YMMV. |
It's Time to Go
While I appreciate Ravi's attempt to create a forum for idea exchange it has devolved into Willytex World. So, I'm saying "Auf Wiedersehen". Having to skip down 10 of willy's inanities in order to read a real post is not that rewarding. It's been nice, folks. See you on the other side.

Demanding we wear masks isn't the president's job.Apparently some folks may have needlessly worn face coverings for more than a year. It isn’t some conspiracy theory to say so. YMMV. The question is, "Was mask-wearing pointless after all?" Can anyone point to any studies showing that masks made a significant difference in containing the coronavirus? It would be interesting to read the Barry1 medical journal about this. They called Barry2 "preposterous" for suggesting that masking doesn't work. Go figure. |
