Thing I remember about that was going to a bake shop there that advertised coffee and asking for an espresso and hearing "sorry sir, we don't serve alcoholic drinks." ? |

Re: And then they came for the yogis and meditators
So glad they published this article. The list of conspiracy theory adherents will be a great culling guide if I ever date again. I'll ask
future prospects do they know or follow any of these people or do they follow any of these trends or beliefs.Don't want to waste time with wackadoddles. My late wife and I tried to be as evidence based as possible. She will be a hard act to follow if I ever move on. |

I think those who fear conspiracy investigators have a problem, a psychological one. They have a problem - it's called cognitive dissonance - been a problem with them for a very long time - apparently for decades. Everyone knows that the TB informants posting to the MJ Group are some of the biggest conspiracy nuts posting to the internet! YMMV. Spiritual seekers are attracted to the idea of hidden and secret knowledge and the existence of a grand cosmic plan. Uncle T. claimed to have tacked up hundreds of posters all over LA advertising instant enlightenment. He once posted that the most important thing he learned from his guru Rama, was that "everything is connected." Go figure. Read on the internet" "Yoga has embraced a transcendental vision of itself, with the figure of the ‘crazy yogi’ a symbol of collective consciousness." |

You still don't get it.? The reason I posted the quote from the Guardian article link was that it summarized well the contents of the report.?Uhhh, that's the whole point of me asking if you read it.? The quote is false in every way and summarizes nothing correctly, let alone well.? I have proven this with language from Page 1 of the report and subsequently with a corrected review by a different rag, as noted in my previous post.?? Here is the quote again: A?, suppressed by US defence chiefs and obtained by The Observer, This statement is completely false.? (not secret and not suppressed. let alone by "defence chiefs" (a clue for you right there.) warns that major European cities will be sunk beneath rising seas as Britain is plunged into a ‘Siberian’ climate by 2020. Nuclear conflict, mega-droughts, famine and widespread rioting will erupt across the world. Also a completely false statement due to the Observer incorrectly interpreting the report and then using grammatical conjugations that further the falsity.? It was warning of nothing (it was an imagined "what if" scenario of the unthinkable for worst-case planning purposes).? There was no "will be" associated with the imagined scenario.?? That article is from 2004 and shows what news media knew of it.? The Observer got it wrong (not the Grist, for example) and these rags hardly represent the "news media"?? I posted that as a courtesy so people would know what I was talking about.? The report itself which I don't believe WAS available back thenYes it was.? That's point #1.? It wasn't secret at all.? The report was released in October 2003 for unlimited public distribution.? It's on Page 1.? All you have to do is read it for yourself and believe your lyin' eyes.? Your mind is hobbled in some way—I don't get it, honestly.?? the first site listed with the report was the FEMA training site.? I posted that so anyone interested could read the report and of course FEMA would be a "credible" site.LOL.? There you go again.? "Global warming" is a scientific reality that has been politicized, unfortunately.?? "Global warming occurs when carbon dioxide (CO2) and other air pollutants and greenhouse gases collect in the atmosphere and absorb sunlight and solar radiation that have bounced off the earth’s surface. Normally, this radiation would escape into space—but these pollutants, which can last for years to centuries in the atmosphere, trap the heat and cause the planet to get hotter. That's what's known as?." ? -- Em |

The funny thing is I've had not one but two inquiries from Facebook asking if I might be interested in working for them. The problem is with a lot of these companies is they hire kids fresh out of college who have only learned theory from professors who have never held a job at a software company.? They are crippled from the word go.? The process used to be to hire a college grad and give them a year to learn the ropes.? Then we also have a lot of comp sci grads who only majored in for the money but are crap programmers.? You need to have a knack for it.? Not surprisingly a lot of the successful programmers were originally professional musicians, artists and writers.? That's because it's really a creative field not a science.? The science is for the tools used. ? |

Go figure. Recently there was a purge of QAnon accounts. All this suppression just forces the conspiracy theorists to shift into other forms. Now they are deep into cloaking. I recently read that everyone believes in at least one conspiracy theory. YMMV. |

China tried a "one child" policy but it didn't work because of cultural patterns and went against their economic model which would have needed to change for that policy to work.? If the planet had continued to the space programs to colonize the moon and Mars any population expansion would have been moot because many would have wanted to be "pioneers" and live in those colonies even if they died tried to get there. The fundamental purpose of life is reproduction.? We are given minds to control that impulse and religion and politics were invented to keep it under control for those with weak minds.? We created programs like Social Security so that people didn't feel a need to have a large family so that at least one of the children would be there in old age to take care of them.? Now we have a shortage of jobs as there is not enough that needs to be done.? So an annual basic income would solve the problem and pay for itself by keeping people from getting into crime to survive because court and incarceration costs eat up a lot of tax revenue. But then maybe this push for "everyone to get the vaccine" is the "Utopia" UK TV series scenario where a vaccine was developed against an imaginary flu but it's real purpose was to sterilize the public to reduce population expansion and hunger for resources. Right now it the vaccines seem to be an experiment to see what RNA nanoparticles do to the human body. |

Could be because of actual lower winter temperatures and longer winter seasons we have been seeing the last few years.? That is NOT global warming.? The latter is used politically to institute control over the masses and take away your liberties.?? The "they" in this that Ann always questions (because she seems to get nervous when I critique the upper class) is of course governments and the corporations that control them now.? We are living in a world going aggressively fascist and we need to fight back against that.? You won't learn that from the fashion magazines you read.? They are already controlled by the culprits as to program your mind. On 2/17/21 9:01 PM, Emily Mae via
