Re: Inclement Weather Announcement

Don't blame the power problems on the frozen wind turbines.? Contrary to what Fox News is saying, they're actually performing above what is forecasted, according to ERCOT.? The problem is with frozen hardware related to natural gas, coal, and nuclear!

Reminder: Don't leave your car running with the garage door closed.??

I hear you.? I subscribed to TV in order to watch the Georgia runoff and certification in real time and then decided to keep the subscription through the trial.? The timeline and footage and case the House put together was delivered responsibly and brilliantly. One can't even compare it to the malign and cynical farce tRump directed his lawyers to present.? I couldn't watch it.?

Yea, it has certainly made all those with a modicum of common sense and decency sit up and take stock. Who are we actually surrounded by in this country of ours? Who, exactly, is at the helm and how the fucking hell do we get into a head space where we feel even a teensy weensy bit of control over our destinies? We have woken up to a nightmare and it isn't going away any time soon. My solution at the moment is to try and stop reading and watching the news. I need a break. The only thing I really want to read about is trump flailing for his life in court.

I think a lot of people hoped (not "thought"—particularly after he was elected) that he would respond to the gravity of the responsibility, learn on the job and take the advice of experts.? I never thought for a second he would do any of that either.? That was also an explanation a lot of Republicans told themselves to help excuse his ignorance, behavior, and their vote.?
