Then He Knew
Then We Knew ? First we thought he would never be a serious candidate. Then we thought he would never get the nomination. Then we thought he would never win the election. Then we thought he would become presidential. Then we thought the generals would protect us. Then we thought Bob Mueller would save us. Then we thought the Democrats would impeach him. Then we thought the Republicans would abandon him. Then we thought he could never be reelected. Then we thought the constitution would save us. Then we stopped thinking. Then we knew. ~Norman Vig, Professor, Carleton College Em |

开云体育I'm sure you know this but you can get an SSL certificate free for your site.? That store needs to know that too.? It's a little tedious to do and you have to update them every 90 days.? But you can get cheap yearly ones at namecheap.com.On 2/14/21 8:11 AM, WillyTex via

These days studios seem to be only paying for a sound mix meant for large theaters with loud action scenes and very soft dialog.? The latter they came up with discourage people from talking during movies.? The AV Receiver therefore needs settings available to compress the highs and lows when you stream those movies. I have a MacBook Air to build iOS apps.? But it only has a 128GB SSD so I got a 500GB external hard drive and boot off it.? That's a mechanical drive and looking at external SSD prices I could clone it to an SSD which would be much faster for the same price as the external HHD cost.? SSDs were about twice that price a year ago. This Linux box is 10 years old and still going strong with the hardware you recommended.? But Linux is getting bloated nowadays so I just got a 2TB Seagate Barracuda drive and will make a 256GB boot partition and clone the boot from the old drive and then copy the 2nd partition.? I've also got an Nvida JetPack that runs Linux but need to put it in a case and add more storage.? It is very fast. |

Yamaha AV receiver?? I have one of those but it was first generation ARC and I have to keep grabbing it's remote to force the ARC to work. The same thing happens with my Yamaha! We were at Best Buy last week to pick up a MacBook Pro for Rita and I was going to get the Yamaha RX-V385BL with the eArc, Bluetooth and with 5.1 banana plugs, for $279.00. SOLD OUT! Empty shelves all around. Home audio has gone to shit! Oppo is dead. People are streaming. YMMV. |

A WHO investigation after a year of pandemic?Wait. "I want to clarify that all hypotheses remain open and require further study." - Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Thursday What!? Yamaha AV receiver?? I have one of those but it was first generation ARC and I have to keep grabbing it's remote to force the ARC to work.? Long overdo for a new up-to-date receiver.? My first receiver was a Yamaha (bundled with Klipsch speakers from Good Guys) and the second a Pioneer.? I wanted to get the recent low end Pioneer but so did everyone else apparently as they are sold out. ;-)
Cal Tjader used to play Sunday evening jams at the DoubleTree in the Seattle area back in the early 1970s.? The jazz trio I was in played there regularly.? When I was at the University of Washington in 1967, I wound up being president of the jazz society and we had a Sunday afternoon concert with John Handy at the Hub.? Bobby Hutcherson was playing vibes with Handy at the time and when they dropped by the jazz club downtown to get his vibes it was locked up.? So since I was a music major I ran over to the music building and brought back our Deagan vibes.? Bobby played and endorsed Musser vibes but gladly accepted the Deagan's to use.? Afterward he told me he was able to play things on the Deagan vibes he couldn't on the Musser. |

Do you have a 4K TV yet?We are still using the 55' Smart Samsung and the Blu-Ray player we got at Bjorn's in San Antonio in 2014. Our sound system is 5.1 system using vintage Infinity speakers. Quality control issues are concerning, after reading the Amazon reviews. My friend Bob got a SONY 4K but he paid over $1000 for it. In fact, I'm getting rid of a lot of equipment - sold to the local Hi-Fi shop - vintage receivers, speakers, tape decks etc, including a rare $1000 1970 Sansui turntable. Currently we enjoy listening to cool jazz on the Yamaha using YouTube and Chromecast from my laptop. We also watch Netflix and Prime movies and shows. YMMV. Cal Tjader - Rare vinyl LP |
