Shutting down?? Which one?? The Supreme Court halted work on Keystone XL in July 2020 because it hadn't done the requisite environmental analysis.? Trump tried to circumvent the environmental laws through executive order, but the Supreme Court saw it differently.

You do realize that the majority of the Keystone XL crude was targeted for export after being refined on the Gulf Coast don't you? To China and Mexico, for example.? ?It wasn't for us.? We don't need it.? That was one of the issues.? There already is a cross-country Keystone pipeline that's operational!? Check out the incidents of major oil leaks.? In 2019, 383,000 gallons leaked in ND, for example.? Why should the US assume all of the environmental risks for oil that we don't need!?

Do you know how many jobs it was going to create after construction?? 35. Renewable energy is going to do much, much, more for the economy.? This was totally not worth it.?

Trump waged a full-scale war against the American people and the US government.? And, yes, more than all the US Presidents combined.??

It's all relative.

The bar for wise isn't too high around here. YMMV.

Seems like the dog ate Ann's homework.

Virtual.
Hmmm.? Makes sense that you live in a digitally simulated reality.? What philosophy paradigm does that fall into???

You figure it out.

Black Pumas - Colors

Listening to the musical part of the inauguration today.? I'm still just over the moon on how intelligent and hopeful and competent an administration we the people just ushered in.? Thank God.? It's just a shock still how much we lowered the bar and standards for tRump, just gutting it out and praying he didn't lob a bomb at Iran just for spite.? Speaking of spite, Pompeo sure turned out to be a miserable, petty and punitive little sneak of a man.? Perhaps he did less damage as Secretary of State than he would have as the head of the CIA?? ?

This is a sweet little song from a band out of Austin:?

You seem to think that because I didn't do TM and you assume I've read nothing related to yoga, I can't possibly be familiar with your sentence on "basic Indian philosophy." This is a completely illogical conclusion demonstrating a real lack in basic common sense. ?I'll go out on a limb and draw an evidence-based comparison between you and Willy. ?
