Apparently the Statesman wants to perpetuate the fictional narrative that "dangerous, gun-toting white supremacist rednecks are roaming the city of Austin, hunting black people." Go figure.

What the f7*k are you talking about?? This is today's article.?

Not even a hint of anything the quote alludes to.? Why do you post purposeful BS?? Your mind is serving as a dump, reading this garbage.????

One of the suspects is a juvenile.??

During the just-completed legislative session, Republican lawmakers successfully passed several bills loosening gun restrictions, including a measure that would allow anyone 21 or older who can legally possess a firearm in Texas to carry a handgun in public without a permit. Current state law allows residents 21 or older to carry a handgun only after completing training and criminal background check to obtain a license to carry.?
, known as constitutional carry by gun rights advocates, has long been a legislative priority of many conservative Republican lawmakers, and Abbott has said he will sign the bill.

Other GOP bills approved this year will allow school marshals to carry concealed guns instead of keeping them locked away, let hotel guests bring guns to their rooms, remove sales taxes for firearm safety equipment and lift Texas-made firearm silencers from the state's list of prohibited weapons. ~Austin American-Statesman

Or Whedonesque.? The TV series Firefly had Mal and his crew as former Browncosts pitted against "The Alliance' which consisted of an alliance of the US and China.? China owns us anyway.? They bought a lot of our bonds.

Ann, you are a gem.? Do what I do? Leave and then come back?? Keep the door open?? Pop in again when the Evil Orange One goes on trial???

My attention is also elsewhere these days.? Members of my family and friends are all in the throws of big changes right now.? Personally, I've downsized about 70-80% and am bringing another person on board.? It has been so freeing to let go of my life in boxes and dispose of things not needed.? The house will soon be self-supporting.? The kids are launched.? I start looking for work in July.? In short, am very fortunate and in love with life right now.?

Thank you for showing up here and elsewhere.??

Did you Wear Orange on Friday, June 4th?? Do you believe in the law Greg Abbott is about to sign nixing the requirements for a license?? I agree that gun control laws alone are inadequate as a deterrent to those intent on mass murder as a solution to their grievances.? But, it would help.? Currently Texas is #3 on the list of mass shootings.? I'm so sorry.??

These days it's a challenge not to have any smart devices in your home, TVs for example that are connected to cable. Your phone is the most common smart device. That's all you really need to be connected now. Of course, everyone? knows they are watching everything you do on the internet, with cameras on every street corner and underpass - recording your every keystroke and move. And why? To get the data - it's that simple. Your data is worth money. Not to you but to them. YMMV.

No, I don't own an Amazon smart devices.? I developed some apps to sell on Amazon for tablets but these days they're more interested in us developing for Alexa. ;-)
