New Mailboxes

I just happened to be riding by the new mailboxes yesterday, and our postal carrier was looking at them. I asked if there was any paperwork on them and he said no. I think he was actually surprised to see the boxes. Presumably someone will be contacting us to find out who will be receiving mail at our street addresses.

Two paperwork tasks need to be completed. Below are quotes my Nov 5 email:

(1) Previously, I have said that Doug needed address for the undeveloped lots, but today he said he would be satisfied knowing how many undeveloped lots there are between the existing houses. The wants the mailbox doors to be in the same order as the lots in Fairfield Estates.

(2) He needs the names of all people who will receive mail at each address in Fairfield Estates (and perhaps their present PO Box ¨C I¡¯m not sure about that but can find out.). This information needs to go to Phoenix to be put into the USPS system. He said this might take as little as three weeks.

I thought contractor was going to do everything, but apparently not. Who is going to do the paperwork? I'm willing if authorized.

Ken, As far as I know that will be completed after the construction phase is complete. I am sure they do not want to discuss that yet if we are foing to request changes during the walk-through.?

Jimmy, I hate to ask a really stupid question, but why would they wait until after the construction to do the paperwork? To have the mailboxes operational in the most timely manner, the paperwork should be done in advance. Construction and the paperwork are independent. What is/were their plan to contact everyone??
