SUNDAY:?From the Recipe Creator: Pineapple, brown sugar & cinnamon make plain pork sausage links extra tasty. And the banana slices really complement the sausage. This dish makes any breakfast special. (Marian Peterson, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin)

Don't knock it 'till you try it! This combo works in the same way that maple syrup tastes excellent on sausages. Plus, it's a great way to get a serving of both fruit & protein in as soon as the day starts.

Ingredients:
1 - 12 oz (340 g) package uncooked pork sausage links
3/4 cup (180 ml) pineapple tidbits
2 tablespoons (30 ml) brown sugar
Pinch ground cinnamon
1 medium firm banana, sliced

Directions:
1.?In a large cast-iron or other heavy skillet, cook the sausage according to package directions; drain.
2. Add the pineapple, brown sugar & cinnamon; heat through. Stir in the banana just before serving.
