Yaesu FTM-200 Transceiver
The new FTM-200DR is a C4FM Digital multi-functional transceiver with a single receiver. The FTM-200DR delivers reliable and stable 50W transmit performance. The heavy-duty heat sink is equipped with FACC (Funnel Air-Convection Conductor). The speaker delivers 3W of clear and crisp receive audio which has been specifically tuned for radio communication. 2-inch Full-color display provides high visibility and highlights the frequency of the operating band with selectable color White, Blue or Red. Front panel of the FTM-200DR is detachable and can be mounted at the most desirable operating position. The new FTM-200DR supports optional Bluetooth® wireless operation using the SSM-BT10 Headset or a commercially available Bluetooth® headset*.
YAESU PMG (Primary Memory Group) function in the FTM-200DR allows PMG-SR Monitor (Primary Memory Group with a Single Receiver). The display frequency can register up to 5 PMG channels, regardless of the VFO or Memory channel operation. AUTO or MANUAL mode can be selected**.
1104 Memory channels can be programmed with 16-character alpha-numeric tags. The MAG (Memory Auto Grouping) function allows memory channels to be automatically categorized in each band, ALL, AIR, VHF, UHF and OTHER.
The C4FM digital communication features which are already popular in the market, such as Automatic Mode Select (AMS), Digital Group ID (DG-ID) operation, and Smart Navigation Function are available with the new FTM-200DR. The FTM-200DR supports the Worldwide WIRES-X Internet Communication. A Fixed Node using an HRI-200, or a Portable Digital Node can be easily set up with the optional SCU-40 cable kit.
New Custom Function List (CFL) of the FTM-200DR quickly recalls a list of frequently used functions by simply pressing the [F Menu] key. 10 functions are listed by default, and up to 8 functions can be customized from the 124 items of the setup menu.

/g/FTM-200/message/78
<div>Hi,</div>
<div>I want the FTM-200D to read out my received APRS messages (not beacons). I have the FVS-2 module installed and it is working. If a receive an APRS message addressed to me, the callsign of the sender is read out <strong>but the contents not</strong>. According page 43 of the APRS manual it should read out both callsign and main text. (Setting 76 APRS RINGER, MSG VOICE = ON). </div>
<div>I have changed various settings e.g. 108 VOICE MEMORY , ANNOUNCE / RX MUTE without any luck. </div>
<div>Â </div>
<div>(I use an FT5D to transmit the APRS message.)</div>
<div>(If I view a recieved message, short press F-menu and select voice, the callsign is read out and the message text is read out character by character.)</div>
<div>Â </div>
<div>Any suggestions welcome.</div>
<div>Â Â </div>
<div>Cheers, 73,</div>

To the creator of this Group, would you consider changing the name to "FTM" or "All Yeasu" ?  <br/>That would cover the FTM 100 and a bunch of other analog radios (and some dig.) and keep everyone together instead of speading them out with a new Group. <br/>For example, a vendor parts source (OEM or other) could be discussed, etc. <br/>-- <br/>Regards, Karl Shoemaker<br/>To contact me, please visit SRG's web site at http://www.srgclub.orgsrg734@... hi, for pedestrian mobile use /pm, I am looking for a light battery. I was wondering if one can use a 14.4v li-ion pack. If the 4 cells are fully charged, voltage can be 16.8v. Would this damage the radio? <br/><br/>Cheers, 73, PD4O, Wiekpd4o.info@... (PD4O-Wiek)Fri, 08 Mar 2024 12:36:27 -0800Display battery voltage

/g/FTM-200/message/74
I just heard in a different topic there is a way to display the menu categories in grid view next to the default list view. Toggle by holding F/menu + BAND/grp and then switching on the tranceiver. When going into the setup menu via the grid view I found 3 bugs. Do you also see these and if so, would Yaesu be so kind to correct these....<br/>The DATA category shows item 67 (Data Band) twice and misses item 69 (Data SQL).<br/>The CLONE category swiches items when going from one to the other. First shows items 116 (This Other) and 117 (Other This) then 124 (Factory Reset) and 116.<br/>CALLSIGN is now a seperate Category/Item. When selected it has no menu item 118 indication. "Cosmetic" bug.<br/><br/>Cheers, 73, PD4O, Wiek<br/><br/>Photos made from my FTM-200D<br/><img src="/g/FTM-200/attachment/74/0" loading="lazy" class="myimg-responsive"/>  pd4o.info@... Hi, with GPS coverage, it takes GPS date and time so if I change it, it switches back to GPS time. Without GPS, I can change it.<br/>If I then get a GPS signal, date and time are updated after approx. 30s.<br/><br/>73, pd4opd4o.info@...
