开云体育ESD. A ?static discharge will wipe out the EEPROM.? 24LC128 right beside the microprocessor. ?I have done it myself on the bench here on a Cold Feb Afternoon. ? It is winter. Dry.? Carpet in a vehicle etc. Snap. ? Just my guess.? The IC is ?very inexpensive, but you have to be able to take it off and put another back on. Reset the Radio and program back your settings. ? As for your issue, it could be as simple as that . Wouldn’t worry about it unless it starts happening every week.? ? And as far as Chirp goes. ?That is a long shot blaming it on that. ??? LOL.? 开云体育Does that chip have to be flashed after replacement or is it just memory ??Or is it really just as simple as swapping out the chip and reprogramming..
