Operation on 60 MTS

Easwaran Unni Tharakkal VU2TE All Messages By This Member #50215 Dear all Recently the frequencies on 60 mts is opened to us (VU land). While trying to TX on our allotted frequency ie 53151.5 to 5360.5 Khz. the rig shows TX ERROR. How can we reset that portion of the band for TXing. My rig is FT857D. Hong Kong purchase. Leonard K. Pennock All Messages By This Member #50216 Does your radio have the 6xx memories. Using those memories is the only way an unmodified 857D can transmit on 60M. If you don't have the memories you will have to do the MARS/CAP modification. Leonard K.
